As part of its strategic partnership with the Builders Merchants Federation, Grown in Britain has launched a digital toolkit for BMF merchant members, comprising marketing material templates and ideas for promoting British-grown timber products during Grown in Britain Week, 9-15 October 2017.
“With Brexit negotiations constantly in the headlines and currency fluctuations favouring British-grown timber products, Grown in Britain Week is an ideal time for builders’ merchants to promote their offering,” says Grown in Britain CEO Dougal Driver.
“For merchants wanting to provide assured proof of British-grown origins and social value to bigger house-builders, local authorities or major contractors working locally, then Grown in Britain licensing is an additional step readily available to take.”
The merchant marketing pack can be accessed from the campaign’s website www.growninbritain.org or via the short-form link bit.ly/2xfi1Ai
It comprises a leaflet/poster template for use at A4 as a counter leaflet, or at A3 as a poster; an e-mail footer, and two sticker templates for popular office sticker sizes. There are also details of how to join in and make the most of the British timber already on the ground in merchants’ timber yards.
