Howarth Timber & Building Supplies has adapted the format of its personal design service to provide consultations virtually.
The free, no obligation design service, launched 11 June, can be accessed online and enables customers to get a personal consultation from the comfort of their own home at a time that best suits them.
Customers must first visit the personal design service page of the Howarth Timber & Building Supplies website and select from options: kitchen, bedroom or bathroom. This is followed by a short online process in which they can provide the details of their project, including preferred layout and ideal budget.
The appointment includes a virtual showroom tour, Zoom consultation with a dedicated designer and screen share to discuss plans.
In addition to the new virtual service, Howarth Timber & Building Supplies will also continue to offer consultation in its showrooms via appointment only with measures in place to ensure the safety of its customers.
Howarth Timber & Building Supplies’ marketing manager, Gavin Knowles, explained: “The safety of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance. The current climate means many businesses are having to adapt in order to fulfil the needs of their customers whilst ensuring safe working practices.
“Whilst people have been spending more time at home, they’ve no doubt had time to analyse their interiors and think about changes they’d like to make, so we want to do our bit to help them take plans forward and strike whilst the iron is hot.
“By putting a number of technical and safety resources in place, we can continue to provide our expertise remotely.”
