Huws Gray has announced that it has extended its partnership with a group of children’s hospices for a further year.
The company began its charity partnership in 2015 as part of its special 25th anniversary celebrations, choosing six different children’s hospices located around the branch network.
The hospices are Tŷ Gobaith, Hope House, Claire House, Derian House, Donna Louise and Acorns.
The 2015 fundraising campaign saw Huws Gray raise an incredible £120,847 to assist the hospices to continue providing specialist nursing care for seriously ill children and their families.
Huws Gray employees, suppliers, friends and families all pulled together to participate in several fantastic fundraising challenges. Such was the enjoyment and satisfaction derived from the campaign, the company had decided to raise even more funds by organising further events and activities throughout 2016.
Dafydd Hughes, Huws Gray, commented on the partnership:
“We are delighted to continue to support children’s hospices for another year. We’re very proud of what we achieved over the last 12 months and we’re very thankful to everyone who helped us with our efforts. We look forward to another year of activities and events.”
Eluned Yaxley, Hope House Children’s Hospices, added:
“We are thrilled to be working with Huws Gray again in 2016. They have already gone the extra mile to support us in 2015 and the funds raised have helped us support seriously ill children and their families immensely. We’re looking forward to further-strengthening our relationship with Huws Gray.”
