IBC welcomes new members

The IBC Buying Group has welcomed three more independent merchants to its membership.

PRG Builders Merchants, Maidstone Builders Merchants and Build It Builders Merchants have all joined IBC, to make the most of the group’s partnerships with leading building material suppliers.

Maidstone Builders Merchants has grown rapidly since its launch in 2016. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service, combined with quality products at excellent prices.

Among its stock offering are cement and aggregates, bricks and blocks, roofing, timber, plumbing and tools. Already working closely with a number of IBC suppliers, Directors Warren Jarrett and John Wood are looking forward to the additional benefits available to  members and to building relationships with all IBC’s recommended supplier partners.

PRG Builders Merchants, based in Romford, Essex, is a new builders’ merchant that is bringing fresh ideas to the industry. Director Dee Sandhu said: “I am looking forward to meeting all the IBC suppliers and finding out what they have to offer as we continue to expand our business.”

Build It Builders Merchants has also joined the buying group. The London-based merchant sells a wide range of products to the trade including boilers, tiles, tools and accessories. It also has a large bathroom showroom on site where customers can browse products in situ.

IBC Account Manager Ross Travers says: “We are delighted that these three independent builders’ merchants have chosen to join our membership. They are all successful and fast-growing businesses in their own right, and the fact that they can see the advantages joining IBC will bring to their business is proof of just how much independent merchants can benefit from the strong partnerships we have in place. We look forward to working closely with them going forward.”

As members, merchants have access to strong pricing deals from more than 100 supplier partners, as well as a wide range of powerful marketing and business tools for independent merchants.

The newly launched IBC Members Portal, for example, gives members online access to their account details at any time, as well as instant access to the latest supplier deals, products, rebate information and performance figures.
