Ideal Heating launches ‘More Than Boilers’ campaign

Ideal Heating’s new campaign is intended to “celebrate the people, expertise and innovation behind its market-leading products” while showcasing its growing range of innovative, new energy solutions.

The business states that for over a century, the name Ideal has been synonymous with boilers with its products trusted to keep UK homes and businesses warm since 1906. Today, the company states that Ideal Heating “is the UK’s number one boiler choice, both for homes and commercial buildings, with a growing range of industry-leading heating and hot water products, including innovative, new energy solutions.”

Featuring the hashtag #morethanboilers, the new campaign has been launched “to celebrate the highly-skilled professionals, industry-leading product research and development, best-in-class training and dedicated support that lie behind the brand.”

Mark Derbyshire, Managing Director (Domestic Products) at Groupe Atlantic UK and Republic of Ireland, parent company of Ideal Heating, said: “There’s so much more to us than our products that are in millions of homes and businesses. Our More Than Boilers campaign is an opportunity to give our customers an insight into what lies behind our heating and hot water solutions, including the talented and dedicated people we have across all departments at Ideal Heating.

“It’s a celebration of all the reasons we are the UK’s Ideal heating choice!”

The campaign includes a video shared on the company’s social media channels featuring employees bringing the More Than Boilers story to life. From research and development to engineering, customer service and training, Ideal Heating team members share the campaign’s key messages of: “We are dedicated support. We are experts. We are heating the future. We are best-in-class training. We are More Than Boilers.”

The campaign also highlights the wide range of solutions across the Ideal Heating portfolio, with the business noting that it is a “proud UK manufacturer” with its products “developed in the UK, for the UK, now and into the future.”

For example, all of the company’s domestic boilers, from the Logic Max and Vogue Max combi to the Logic+ Heat, are manufactured to be future-proof, noting that “from the moment they roll off the production line, they’re ready to be converted from natural gas to a 20% hydrogen blend.” Meanwhile, its range of heat pumps and Heat Interface Units (HIUs) are said to provide low-carbon, efficient solutions for new-build homes, social housing and commercial premises.

In addition, Ideal Heating says its expert customer service team offers support to installers and customers 364 days a year, with further support from a network of over 150 service engineers. It adds that it invests £1m every year providing low-cost training to installers and has created a new National Training & Technology Centre.

Supported by a nationwide network of  regional hubs, this “state-of-the-art” facility specialises in low carbon heating training and will help thousands of installers learn the skills needed to install heat pumps.

As industry innovators, Ideal Heating’s research and development teams are committed to developing the heating solutions which will play a vital role in the UK’s transition to a low carbon future.
