In his new position, Jason will be based at Swadlincote, Derbyshire, and responsible for supporting internal managers across technical, sales, order processing, and self-support teams. His focus will be on maintaining Keystone’s “high standards of product quality and customer service while driving process improvements from initial inquiry to order placement.”
With more than 18 years sales experience in the construction industry at a number of materials manufacturers, Jason spent seven years at Keylite progressing to Regional Sales Director. More recently, he spent the past 12 months as UK Sales Director at Dart Tool Group.
Jason commented: “I’m thrilled to be rejoining the Keystone Group and take on this new challenge. Keystone Lintels has an excellent reputation in the industry, and I’m committed to building on that foundation. I look forward to working closely with the talented Keystone team. My goal is to ensure we maintain a customer-focused culture across all departments while adapting to the current market challenges.”
Emphasising the importance of collaboration with contractors, merchants and other stakeholders in the industry, Jason notes that he plans to “balance the company’s offering of standard and bespoke products, ensuring Keystone continues to meet diverse customer needs efficiently and effectively.”
And despite recent industry challenges, Jason expressed optimism for the future of construction. Advocating for a realistic and proactive approach to market changes, he added: “By focusing on effective processes in quoting, customer support and order placement, this will ensure Keystone remains agile and responsive to market shifts.”
Commenting on the appointment, Derrick McFarland, Managing Director of Keystone Lintels, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jason to the Keystone Lintels family. His industry knowledge, customer-centric approach, and strategic vision make him the ideal person to lead our commercial operations going forward.”
Keystone states it is “the largest supplier of steel lintels in the UK and Ireland and carries more stock than any of its rivals.” The company further asserts that it “supports merchants with innovative ranges of products which solve problems for the builder and deliver more opportunity, added value and margin for merchants.”
