As part of an ongoing strategy to expand its service offer, Huws Gray has launched Plant and Tool Hire at its St Helens branch.
Huws Gray has been rolling out the Plant and Tool Hire offering at existing branches across the country, with 88 sites now having this service. This provides customers with all of the merchant’s services under one roof, encompassing its “extensive range of leading brands and a free click and collect service.”
The business also provides tool repair and servicing, while customers can use their existing Huws Gray accounts to hire equipment.
The St Helens branch has been catering to the local community’s construction needs since 2016 and employs 14 colleagues, with this new offering providing an additional three roles. The expansion to include Plant and Tool Hire means the depot “now provides all small tools,” including brand new 0.8 micro diggers, 1.6-ton Excavators, Hi-Tip Tracked Barrows 1 Ton Dumpers, Bumpa hoists and Trench Rammer Aluminium towers.
