MKM Wallingford opens, creating 17 new jobs

MKM Building Supplies has opened a new branch in Wallingford, Oxfordshire creating 17 new jobs in the area, and bringing the total number of branches in the company’s network to 80.

The 1.2 acre site is based at Lupton Road, Wallingford and is designed to be a one-stop shop for both local building trade and retail customers, offering a wealth of industry expertise and an extensive range of products and services. In addition to a wide range of building essentials, the branch will also offer a building takeoff service, brick matching and free local delivery.

MKM Wallingford is headed-up by two branch directors, Stephen Busby and Liam Baldwin.

Stephen, who brings 43 years expertise to the role, commented: “It’s our ambition to make MKM Wallingford the best one stop merchant in Oxfordshire and the point of reference for service levels locally. We are committed to creating a fantastic work environment for our new team, to ensure we retain the very best skills and people.”
