Leading plumbing industry distributor Navigator MSL has been given the go ahead to begin a major £1 million redevelopment of its headquarters in Sharnbrook, near Bedford.
The full planning application has been approved and will see the existing head office and warehouse extended and refurbished to provide new amenities for the staff, a quadrupling of the current office space and provide an additional 700 pallet spaces in the extended and refurbished warehouse. This building will complement a further new warehouse on the site which has already been completed and is now in full operation.
Planning permission has been granted and work has already begun on some of the infrastructure needed for the new building. The specification has been designed to meet Class A environmental standards, with the whole site aiming for net zero by 2025.
Completion of the new development is planned for the end of 2024.

Andrew added: “The funding of this new building project will be funded from our own reserves and shows a massive vote of confidence in the future of the business from the shareholders and stakeholders.”
Navigator owns the impressive site at Sharnbrook, which has significant areas still available for future growth. The business currently employs more than 60 people and anticipates seeing that number grow substantially once the new building is complete.
