The Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Nawaz Ahmed, officially opened the new kitchen and bathroom showroom at Plumbase Colne.
Plumbase Colne opened its doors over the bank holiday weekend to local tradespeople and their customers. While mums and dads made their way around the 3,000sqft showroom, kids were entertained with a bouncy castle.
At the heart of the showroom is a fully working kitchen, specially designed to offer cookery demonstrations with the latest steam ovens, induction hobs and Quooker boiling water tap.
It is complemented by a vast range of designs and accessories, so customers can mix and match to suit their own taste and style. More than 20 bathroom bays showcase the latest designs including a wide range of wet rooms and showers.
Plumbase Colne was formerly Boundary Bathrooms, which has been closed for the redesign and fit-out. It was acquired by Plumbase in January.
Plumbase Colne is one of several new showroom concepts rolling out across the UK this year, combining Plumbase expertise with leading manufacturers. The concept is designed to encourage the trade to take their customers, so they can choose for themselves from the vast range of kitchens and bathrooms.
Plumbase Showroom Manager, Helen Seed, helped design the showroom in Colne: “The old site was dated and in need of a revamp. So as well as rebranding we have invested in a new layout and design to bring it up to date. We have a huge range of designs to suit all tastes and budgets with some of the latest technology, so it’s fantastic to be able to showcase them in the best possible light.
“The new showroom is beautifully designed so tradespeople can be confident in bringing their customers. Consumers are also welcome on their own. We can offer design services and home visits as well as introduce them to a reliable local builder or plumber.”
