Polypipe pushes new boundaries with PolyPlumb Enhanced

Said to feature a host of improvements to its design, Polypipe Building Products has released an improved version of its popular PolyPlumb push-fit range.

A “tried and tested staple” of the residential plumbing market for over 25 years, the PolyPlumb push-fit range has been relaunched with what the manufacturer describes as a series of innovative design upgrades. Complete with a “streamlined design and fresh new look,” the new PolyPlumb Enhanced also features patented In-Cert feedback technology to “provide added confidence when fitting.”

The enhanced range from Polypipe Building Products is compatible with the company’s Plumbing & Heating pipe, as well as copper pipe, and is said to be suitable for most hot and cold water supply and heating applications. Furthermore, by featuring Polypipe’s patented In-Cert technology, installers will benefit from “improved jointing assurance and peace of mind through haptic feedback.”

“PolyPlumb Enhanced continues to deliver the reliability and confidence installers have grown to expect from the product but brings a fresh new look and even better performance.”

The In-Cert incorporates what is described as a 360º wave feature in its head which engages with projections within the socket and helps to align and centralise the pipe. The ‘haptic click’ of the In-Cert is designed to provide additional confidence with the firm stating installers need to just push the pipe home, twist and know the job is done — push, twist, know.

The compact fitting also features the “trusted pre-lubricated EPDM O-ring and the proven high performance stainless-stell grab ring for continued joint integrity.”

PolyPlumb Enhanced also brings a fresh new look to the range, and is available in white for the first time as well as the original grey. Allowing it to blend seamlessly in a range of settings, the two colours are also fully compatible with each other if required.

With the joint demountable by disassembly only, Polypipe says that, overall, PolyPlumb provides a superb combination of fast fitting and a permanent, reliable fix.

Adam Pearson, Category Manager at Polypipe Building Products, said: “PolyPlumb has been a widely known and loved fixture for professional installers for over 25 years. Continuous improvement applied through innovative technology and progressive design is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to share the results with the heating and plumbing community.

Finally, PolyPlumb Enhanced comes with a 50-year guarantee to offer merchants and their customers further reassurance whilst sample packs are available to try out the new range.
