OBM reports that its third Annual Trade Day Summer Spectacular proved to be an outstanding success, “uniting over 50 leading suppliers, valued customers and industry experts for a day dedicated to networking, product innovation and charitable giving.”
Held in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), the event welcomed guests with a complimentary breakfast and lunch, setting the stage for an engaging exploration of the latest tools, materials, and industry trends.
Renowned brands including DEWALT, Mannok, ForgeFix, Marsh Industries, Pavestone UK, Walsall Wheelbarrows, and many more were in attendance, offering exclusive product demonstrations and expert insights. Attendees tested their skills in interactive competitions such as the ever-popular ForgeFix 5 Nail Challenge and the TuffStuff 6-dart competition. Live demonstrations from CT1, Scrubbs, and the RUBI Group further showcased innovative solutions and recent product launches.
Adding to the excitement, a charity raffle, special giveaways, and exclusive on-the-day offers helped raise vital funds for the MNDA.
The success of the Summer Spectacular is described as being indicative of the Kent-based independent merchant’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with suppliers and supporting the local trade community, all while making a positive difference beyond the workplace. Otford Branch Manager Emma Michelmore commented: “Our Summer Spectacular truly lived up to its name. It was fantastic to see so many of our customers, colleagues, and suppliers coming together.
“A massive thank you to everyone who made it possible – your support, enthusiasm, and generosity made the day a real success.”
Looking ahead, OBM plans to build on this momentum with future trade days and community initiatives, continuing to bring the industry together and foster meaningful connections.
