Skin care experts Swarfega has begun its annual hunt to find the UK’s Toughest Trade! Could it be one of your customers?
Since the competition’s launch in 2018, tradespeople across the country have been sending in pictures of their toughest tasks in the hope of being honoured as Swarfega’s Toughest Trade. It was mechanics who took the crown in 2019, followed by farmers in 2020, fishermen in 2021, and farmers once again in 2022, with agricultural superstar Eleanor Gilbert championing a hard-fought battle on social media against entries from tree surgeons to engineers!
After five highly charged contests, the business is once again on the lookout to discover whether farmers can plough through the competition for the third time, or whether another trade can knock them off the podium!
It goes without saying that builders face some of the toughest tasks going. Whether it is a roofer shifting materials sky high come rain or shine or a brickie laying solid foundations, a merchant’s trade customers definitely work in some of the harshest conditions.
Could this be the year they take the crown?
Launched at the end of January, the competition will run until March 2023. Swarfega will be challenging tradespeople to post a picture of themselves or a colleague battling their toughest task on the Swarfega Facebook or Twitter page, along with the hashtag #ToughestTrade and a short reason why they think their trade should top the competition in 2023!
Picking the Toughest Trade is a tricky task in itself, so to ensure each trade has a fair fight, the Swarfega team will choose the top 4 entries and will then put it to a public vote on social media to find the winner. The winner will receive £200 in Amazon vouchers and the trade that the winner represents will be crowned Swarfega’s New Toughest Trade for 2023. The runners-up in places 2-4 will also receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
Will farmers lose their crown? Can a new trade make it to the podium? Make sure to keep an eye on Swarfega’s channels to find out!
