Travis Perkins has won the ‘Best evolution of Company Benefits’ award at the Engagement Excellence Awards, on 9 October at The Roundhouse in London.
The award was presented to Travis Perkins in recognition of its benefits package, which is offered to its 28,000 employees across the UK via a common platform, Reward Gateway, where the benefits range from the more traditional child care vouchers and cycle to work incentives, to educational advice, discounted flu jabs and saving schemes.
The company also recently launched a new financial wellbeing hub, which is supported by one of the UK’s largest financial wellbeing companies, Neyber. This provides impartial money advice from a range of experts, and gives access to information about how to make the most of earnings and deal with financial challenges.
The annual Engagement Excellence Awards are said to showcase market leaders who provide exceptional employee engagement programmes for their employees. Each year hundreds of applications are independently judged by some of the most experienced and skilled HR, benefits and reward professionals in the industry.
