Vista Engineering has put the finishing touches to a new head office on the site where the company has been manufacturing wall ties and fixings for over 40 years.
New signage at the Derbyshire HQ marks the completion of the 18-month building project, which has doubled stockholding capacity and significantly increased office space to help meet the growing demand for Vista products.
The premises are part of a wider programme of expansion that has seen the Vista Group acquire two additional companies – BPC and GA Fixings – and increase its UK production and warehousing capacity.
From the outset, Vista Managing Director, Phil Travis, was said to be determined that the flagship HQ should reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Features such as roof mounted solar panels will help reduce Vista’s energy consumption and carbon footprint, as well as drive down manufacturing costs.
Phil commented: ‘’The feedback from staff and customers has been one hundred percent positive. As well as being a spacious, modern place to work, the new offices give us all the room we need for our growing Sales and Technical Support Teams. The expanded warehouse means we can hold a lot more stock, ready to get out whenever it’s needed. We’ve been on the same site for over 40 years now and seeing the new building take shape over the last year and a half has been like the start of a whole new chapter for us.”
