YBS Insulation welcomes marketing team

As YBS Insulation approaches 25 years as a manufacturer of insulation products, it has announced it has introduced a celebratory rebrand as well appointed a new marketing team.

Daniel McKane has joined YBS as Sales & Marketing Director, bringing with him knowledge gained from Gripit, where he was Sales Director. Before this, Dan worked at Centurion Europe, where he developed a background in the construction industry as well as manufacturing.

Since his appointment in October, Dan has formed a new external sales team of five, who cover the whole of the UK. He will be working closely with another appointee, Catherine Hadwick, to drive growth and meet key targets for YBS Insulation.

Catherine, who is the new Marketing Manager, holds a degree in architecture, so also has knowledge of the industry. With a keen interest in art and design, she spent 12 years working for Bereco Group – which makes bespoke timber doors and windows – in roles including Marketing Manager and Technical Manager. There she led a complete company rebrand and believes her love of creating original content and finding ways of improving brand awareness will enable her to deliver in similar ways for YBS.

Formed in 1994, the first 10 years saw YBS introduce a number of insulation brands including Breather Foil, Airtec, Foil-Tec, SuperQuilt and a Cavity Closer range.

After moving to a new purpose-built factory in 2004, investment was made in a bubble membrane manufacturing line. Further expansion at its main site in Cresswell, close to Sheffield, including the introduction of advanced new machinery, followed in 2008 to enable sales expansion into Europe.
