Long Rake Spar has made an additional two appointments, with Tom Broadhurst becoming a Director of the business and Dan McMahon promoted to Senior Area Sales Manager.
In its most recent announcement, Long Rake Spar has confirmed the promotion of Dan McMahon (pictured above, right) to Senior Area Sales Manager, recognising his strong contribution to the business since joining two years ago. Dan has played a key role in developing customer relationships across the builders’ merchant and landscaping sectors, building a “reputation for reliability, professionalism and a results-driven approach.”
In his new role, Dan will take on increased responsibility within the sales function, supporting the company’s continued growth and strengthening its presence across key markets.
Group Sales Director Shane McCormick commented: “Dan’s progression within the business is well deserved. He has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to both our customers and the wider team. His development over the past two years reflects the opportunities we aim to create for our people, and we are confident he will continue to make a significant impact in his new role.”
Dan added: “I’m really pleased to step into this new role and I’m looking forward to continuing to support our customers and contribute to the company’s growth.”
Additionally, the supplier recently announced the appointment of Tom Broadhurst (pictured, left) as a Director in a move said to “reinforce the company’s long-standing commitment to family leadership and long-term business stewardship.”
Tom, the eldest son of Owner and Managing Director Trevor Broadhurst, has worked within the business from a young age and has developed a deep, practical understanding of its operations. He currently holds the role of Group Maintenance Engineer, where he plays a key role in maintaining and developing the company’s operational capability across its sites.
Commenting on the appointment, Trevor said: “Tom has grown up with the business and has earned his place through hard work, commitment and a genuine understanding of how we operate. This appointment reflects the responsibility he already carries and our confidence in his contribution to the future of Long Rake Spar.”
Tom added: “I’m proud to be taking on this role and to continue building on what has been established over many years. Long Rake Spar is a business I care deeply about, and I’m committed to supporting its long-term success.”
The moves follow the recent appointment of Tammy Tidmarsh as Head of Marketing, all further strengthening Long Rake Spar’s leadership team as the company “continues to invest in its people, operations and future growth.”
