PHG Plumbing Heating Group has announced the winners of its Annual Supplier Awards, held at the Carden Park Hotel in Chester at the end of May.
The PHG Supplier Awards celebrate and recognise excellence in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry, with the event one of the largest gatherings of plumbing, heating & bathroom suppliers and independent merchants in the industry.
PHG now has 15 members operating out of 308 branches in the UK and a total of 268 guests from the plumbing, heating and bathroom sector were in attendance, including 199 supplier representatives joined by 63 PHG representatives. The annual event included an action-packed day of outdoor team building activities, followed by a prestigious awards ceremony in the evening.
The Awards were hosted by Paul Martin – Magical Host and included the following categories:
Instinct Plumbing & Heating Supplier of the Year: Ideal Heating

Bathroom Supplier of the Year (under £1m): Highlife Bathrooms

Bathroom Supplier of the Year (over £1m): Merlyn
(nominees Bristan, Ideal Standard, Imex, & Roper Rhodes)
Heating Supplier of the Year (under £1m): Wilo
(nominees — Advanced Water, Fernox & Scalemaster)
Heating Supplier of the Year (over £1m): EPH Controls
(nominees — Ideal Heating, Stelrad & Worcester Bosch)
Plumbing Supplier of the Year (under £700k): Arctic Hayes
(nominees FM Products, Instantor and Siamp)
Plumbing Supplier of the Year (over £700k): Viva Sanitary
(nominees — Lawton Tube, Navigator, RWC and Wirquin)
Overall Supplier of the Year: Ideal Heating
Most Engaged Supplier Team Member: Rebecca Shuck, Grundfos
Ian Beggs, the new PHG Chairman for 2026, said: “This event has established itself as the primary lightside networking gathering now in the industry, and continues to be very well represented at senior levels right across the market. I am delighted not only for all the winners – who thoroughly deserved it, but also for all the nominees who should be equally proud of their recognition.”
As part of the celebrations, attendees enjoyed a full programme of daytime activities at Carden Park, including a Golf Competition, Spa Experience and outdoor team-building events such as Foot Golf, Archery, Segways and Live Clay Shooting.
The Awards Ceremony itself closed with after-dinner entertainment from Nigel Owens MBE, the most-capped referee in world rugby.
Furthermore, over £6,000 was raised for Myaware after a charity raffle at the event. PHG is matching the funds raised on the night, and £13,000 will be donated to the charity.
