BMF gears up for 2019 Pavestone Rally

The BMF team is gearing up for this year’s Pavestone Rally, which starts on 5 September and will see participants travel from Reims in Northern France to Stuttgart, Salzburg, Venice and finishing on 8 September in the beautiful setting of Lake Como.

This year’s BMF team – Oz Bham, Richard Ellithorne, James Spillane and Glenn Paddison – are raising money for  three fantastic charities: The Rainy Day Trust, Teenage Cancer Trust and Variety. Please visit www.bmf.org.uk/events to pledge your support.

To take part in the Pavestone Rally, entrants had to buy a road-legal car for under £500 (the cheaper the car, the more fun!), dress it up and hit Europe’s greatest roads and cities for four days to the ultimate destination of Lake Como. Wearing fancy dress, they have to complete challenges along the way, having a load of laughs, a load of fun – and all in aid of the three deserving charities.

The fundraising bar has been raised for the 2019, with a target of a whopping £175,000! Aaron Frogley, the event organiser said: “Over the last three years the Rallies have raised in excess of £325,000. It is a truly staggering amount of money that would not have been achieved without all the teams’ fantastic fundraising efforts. We have a great laugh, we make friends for life and memories to last a lifetime, but what a great way to raise money for the charities.”

The BMF is thanking all of the members to have sponsored the team car this year:
