BMF is set for own pavilion at Ecobuild 2017

The Builders Merchants Federation is set to have its own branded BMF Pavilion at Ecobuild, the UK’s largest event for construction, design and energy in the built environment, which takes place at Excel, London from 7th to the 9th March 2017.

The BMF is working with exhibition organisers, UBM, to create a platform for merchants to meet and do business at the exhibition, which will focus on the role of sustainability as a driver for innovation, a catalyst for regeneration and as a way for organisations to do better business. Exhibition space within the branded pavilion will be reserved for BMF members.

John Newcomb, BMF Managing Director, said: “This is another first for the organisation and one that is sure to benefit members. With its focus on regeneration and building better communities, Ecobuild provides a unique opportunity to bring merchants, suppliers and specifiers together to discuss vital issues, including tackling the UK housing crisis, and discover more about the latest systems and technologies that contribute to sustainable construction.”

Martin Hurn, Brand Director of Ecobuild, commented: “Merchants have an important role to play in helping move the regeneration and sustainability agenda forward.  We’re therefore excited to be able to work with the BMF to create a dedicated platform for its members to maximise the opportunities available at Ecobuild.  The pavilion will provide a unique space for merchants to come together with suppliers and specifiers to address key industry issues, showcase the latest innovations and forge stronger relationships.”

The BMF has negotiated special rates for all members exhibiting at Ecobuild, both within the pavilion and in the main exhibition area. Former Marketing Manager, Christine Harding, has been contracted to manage exhibition space within the pavilion.
