Border to showcase at the NMBS Exhibition

Border Merchant Systems will be showing the latest developments to its integrated CounterAct Software at the NMBS Exhibition on 22 April at the Coventry Ricoh Arena.

The latest CounterAct releases will be revealed (2-8C) at the exhibition and highlights of the issue include the 360 Degree Overview that allows a user to look up and down a chain of related documents from several starting points eg: quotation to final invoice.

Other features of the update include a new option to show stocked products first in a product search which applies to sales and orders, formal quotations and purchase order processing. Improvements have also been made to the product search and extract features. The distribute feature in CounterAct, that allows customer orders to be split over different orders and branches, has also been upgraded.

Other enhancements to CounterAct to be revealed at the show include the addition of two new statuses for customer orders – ‘Newly Available Today’ and ‘New /Goods Unavailable’, these will help users to focus on actions that may be required to meet order requirements. Finally, Border has added an option to import XML files from the Synertec EDI offering.

The exhibition will be an opportunity for Border to demonstrate and discuss its web development facilities and show examples of tailor-made trading websites that are fully integrated with CounterAct using the Magento E Commerce platform. As Part of the 2-8C upgrade Border has also added a number of improvements to its web integration facilities.

Phil Davies, Commercial Manager at Border stated “We are aiming to use this event to inspire merchants by providing new software developments that can be used to improve efficiencies and customer service. We will show how delivering powerful technical solutions reduces administration and cost – and ultimately increases profit. Ecommerce and the ability to manage account customers on-line demonstrate our commitment to offer the very latest solutions for modern merchants.”
