Foyne Jones launches free Weekly Job Seekers Club

Foyne Jones, executive search and talent acquisition service providers for the KBB, Builders’ Merchant & Construction Sales Industries, has launched a Weekly Job Seekers Club for anyone looking who has lost their job or currently seeking new employment during Lockdown #3.

Working in partnership with Quooker UK and run on a weekly basis throughout January, February and March, spaces are limited to 50 participants per session with each instalment hosted by Peter Jones, Founder & Managing Director at Foyne Jones, alongside a well-respected guest list.

Each session will provide attendees with:

  1. Interactive weekly workshops
  2. Informal, relaxed guidance
  3. Guest speakers
  4. Valuable career advice
  5. Confidence building and self-motivation techniques
  6. Ability to unlock the hidden job market

Renowned for his fresh and innovative approach to recruitment and networking in the digital age, Peter Jones explained: “Personality and an ability to listen and learn is the cornerstone of recruitment, so we have decided to create a unique, free programme of interactive workshops to support job seekers and mitigate the inevitable after-effects of the newly imposed lockdown in 2021.”

The debut session will take place on Friday 15 January and welcomes KBB supremo Stephen Johnson, Managing Director at Quooker UK. Stephen said: “I am delighted to take part in the first of these exclusive workshops and work with Peter to help transform careers and shape positive change for our industry. We are particularly proud of the partnership we formed together last summer in order to support the KBB industry and offer next-level redundancy support including specialist coaching and mentoring, alongside dedicated seminars and podcasts.”

Peter added: “We want to provide targeted advice, along with the latest creative strategies to optimise career opportunities within the KBB, Builders’ Merchant & Construction Sales Industries. Making a commitment to show up for your dreams and improve your life is the biggest thing you can ever do and we want to provide you with a solid foundation for success so you can fulfil your long-term career aspirations.

“With the health crisis and digital landscape changing on a weekly basis, job hunting and recruitment has to be fluid and therefore evolve, because if we don’t start doing things differently, we are in danger of losing our best players to other sectors: and potentially, stop attracting experts within our field and much sought after stars of the future.”

Former candidates of Foyne Jones describe their experiences with the company:

Tom Edwards: “Peter made me feel so comfortable before going to interview, he talks to you as a person not as a subject or another win or sales. Somehow Peter manages to understand exactly what job / company every individual will be suited to. His vast knowledge of the industry is amazing. Thank you so much for your help on finding me a new role. Everyone needs a Peter Jones when looking for a job.”

Luci Jones: “Recently, I had to think outside the box to get on my feet after being a victim of COVID-19 and needed new employment. It took just one email to get the ball rolling with Peter Jones and what started as a very nervy conversation, ended with me coming off the phone buzzing with excitement at the potential opportunities out there for me. I can’t thank Peter and his team enough for all his hard work, backing and support. The advice he gave and the way he listened was so helpful. I wouldn’t be where I am now without his input. He gave me self-belief. So a big thankyou from me! “

Bernadette Rogers: “I connected with Peter in the dark days of Lockdown one. I had just been made redundant, hubby had been furloughed and trying to play the guitar and to be honest things were tough out there….the days were dark, morale was low and there was so much uncertainty out there! His selfless approach to give back to the industry was inspiring, caring and bluntly honest. His team work wonders with your CV’s, conducting video interviews (video interviews are the future for both candidates and businesses) and running some uplifting virtual diaries. Opening your connections to others within the industry that can help. They inspire you to be your best!”
