Jewson and JCB mark 20th anniversary of partnership

Jewson has marked 20 years of its partnership with JCB, with a recent visit to the construction equipment manufacturer’s headquarters in Staffordshire.

The national builders’ merchant has stocked JCB tools, machines and equipment for the past two decades, with a huge range of products on a buy and hire basis available to its customers. Jewson is also expanding its electric hire offering, with diggers, dumpers and tracked barrows added to its electric fleet.

Mark Esling, Business Development Director at Jewson, said: “JCB is a key partner and we are proud to be marking such an important anniversary of working together. As two British-born brands, we are aligned on our core values of supporting the trade and empowering builders, tradespeople and contractors across all industries with the best products, services and expertise and we look forward to a bright future together.”

Steve Fox, Managing Director for JCB Global Major Accounts, added: “We are delighted to celebrate this anniversary with Jewson. Supplying it with JCB machines for 20 years is testament to the quality of our range of compact machinery. The addition of electric powered machines to its fleet demonstrates that Jewson is looking to the future and the opportunities that these zero emissions machines will afford them.”

To mark the 20th anniversary, Jewson is launching a giveaway on its social media channels, with a competition to win a JCB bundle including a Sony wireless speaker, toy truck, water bottle and flask. Entrants can visit the Jewson Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels for a chance to win.
