Jewson has launched its new branch in Horsham, West Sussex, where a complete refurbishment of the existing site has transformed it into a “hub for tradespeople and customers.”
With an extended range of building products under one roof, the branch also offers tool hire, access to industry experts and a private office for customers to discuss their projects in confidence. The national merchant, now part of the STARK Group, says the depot will “bring to life everything that it has to offer its customers and partners,” including access to the Build Aviator service, which allows tradespeople and builders to plan and estimate projects of all sizes, calculate margins, order stock and create professional quotes for clients.
The refurbishment has been designed with sustainability in mind and features solar photovoltaic roof panels, air source heating, a heat recovery system for ventilation and internal and external LED lighting.
To mark the completion of the project, Jewson held a launch event on 14th June where suppliers, staff and partners were invited to explore the new branch and socialise, accompanied by complimentary food, freebies, prizes and games.
James Buckle, Business Unit Director, said: “The refurbished branch feels like a whole new experience, which has been entirely designed with our customers in mind. From the new layout to the enhanced product range and new facilities, the Horsham branch will act as a welcoming hub for the region’s tradespeople to access all the products and services they need under one roof.”
